1. 2018 Clare Valley Shiraz
Made using fruit from two vineyards, this wine is fermented as a whole bunch. The resultant drink is a deep red coloured wine with a slight purple tinge. Having a dark blackberry fruit with black olives and spicy bouquet with notes of liquorice and fine French oak cedar, it has a palate of blackberry and spice follow through from the bouquet on to the palate with great concentration of flavour.
2. 2013 Claire Reserve Shiraz
The fruit for this wine is sourced from 120 year old dry grown Shiraz in Polish Hill River. The grapes are de-stemmed and fermented with natural yeast. The resultant drink is a beautiful deep crimson coloured with a generous and elegant bouquet of rich, concentrated forest fruits with spice, chocolate and cedar notes. The palate is powerful with juicy fruit and long grainy tannins.
3. 2017 Clare Valley Shiraz
Fruit from two vineyards both the cooler region of Polish Hill River is used to make this wine. To promote varietal character, the whole bunch is used during fermentation. The resultant drink is deep red and purple in colour with vibrant red berry fruits, black olives and spicy bouquet having nuances of liquorice and fine French oak cedar. The palate is powerful yet beautifully balanced with chalky tannins, mocha chocolate showing a tight, fine grain structure with subtle fruit integration.
4. 2018 Adelaide Hills Shiraz
The fruit for this wine is produced in red loam soil which allows consistency and balance. The resultant drink is deep red with a slight purple hue in colour, wonderful fruit bouquet, with notes of satsuma plum, cinnamon spice, blackberry and forest floor and rich with great depth of flavour, dominated by juicy blackberry fruit and balanced with a seamless finish of soft tannins and acidity.
5. 2017 ‘Blue Cutting Road’ Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot
The fruit for this wine is grown on grey loam acid soils with much of the topsoil littered with a rock. These varieties are blended at the crusher. The resultant drink is a deep crimson coloured wine with a bouquet of violets, cassis and red berries, chocolate-mint flavours and a hint of spice. A full-bodied with cassis, red berries, herbs, and fine-grain tannins give the palate structure and balance.
