Vegetarian Lasagne Recipe
This cheesy affair overloaded with veggies and tangy tomato 🍅 sauce can be a perfect replacement if you want to have a delicious meatless meal. Give this easy Vegetarian Lasagne recipe a try:
● Take 16 ounces package lasagna noodles and cook them in boiling water for 10 minutes. As cooked, rinse with cold water and drain.
● Move on to cook 1 pound of fresh sliced mushrooms 🍄, ¾ cup chopped green bell pepper, ¾ cup chopped onion 🧅 and 3 cloves minced garlic 🧄 in a saucepan with 2 tbsp vegetable oil. Pour 2 jars of pasta sauce and 1 tsp dried basil 🌿. Bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for 15 minutes.
● Mix 1 container part-skim ricotta cheese with 2 cups mozzarella cheese 🧀, and eggs 🥚 in another pan.
● Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Spread 1 cup tomato sauce into the bottom of a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Layer 1/2 each, lasagna noodles, ricotta mix, sauce, and ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese. Repeat this layering and top with the remaining 2 cups of mozzarella cheese.
● Bake it uncovered for 40 minutes. Let it stand for 15 minutes before serving. To upscale the experience, pull out your favourite wine bottle.
